Lawrence Frieman, MD, FACS
Lawrence Frieman, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and longtime Red Bank physician with more than 50 years of experience caring for patients in the community. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Lawrence Frieman specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract, glaucoma, corneal disease, and uveitis for adults and older adults, with a focus on trusted relationships, personalized care, and helping patients preserve healthy vision.
Dr. Lawrence Frieman has been married to his wife, Gail, for over 40 years and is the father of Dayna, a teacher, and Brett, his medical partner. His outside interests include spending time with his grandchildren, road rallying, skiing, and travel.

Brett Frieman, DO
Brett Frieman, DO is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has served the Red Bank community for more than 22 years. He earned his D.O. from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his ophthalmology residency at UMDNJ/New Jersey Medical School.
His clinical experience includes comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, including cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma, corneal disease, uveitis, annual eye exams, and contact lens fittings. Dr. Brett Frieman teaches cataract surgery to ophthalmology residents at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Brett Frieman has been married to his wife, Amy, for over 19 years. She is the Director of Palliative Care at Hackensack Meridian Hospital System, Neptune. His outside interests include hanging out with his two children, tennis, and cheering for the NY Jets.
